Thanksgiving is just around the corner ...
This year why not celebrate the giving season by helping a child go to school?
Since Yume Africa launched their activities in April 2021, we have helped a total of 92 children in rural Cameroon access education and successfully tutored 75 below-average students. We have been thrilled to see some early successes in our programs:
Our direct assistance to parents enabled them to pay their children's school fees.
Participants in our tutoring program achieved a 100% pass rate on national exams.
We ensured that displaced children had the school supplies they needed to attend classes.
We have loved speaking with students and parents about Yume Africa's impact on their lives. At the same time, we know that many more families want nothing more than to educate their children but lack the resources.
This holiday season, we have an ambitious goal of expanding our operations in Cameroon to support 100 more children. In addition to helping more children, we hope to deepen our impact by providing more resources for books, uniforms, school supplies, and tutoring. To achieve this goal, we hope to raise $5,000 by the end of the year.
You can help us expand access to education in rural Cameroon by making a contribution to our PayPal account or participating in our Facebook's fundraiser.
Partnering with Yume Africa is a cost-effective way to make a difference in the life of a child. We are a small operation run entirely through volunteer hours, so every dollar you give goes directly to the cost of helping children access education. We also work directly with local communities and families in Cameroon to ensure that the money we raise reaches the people who need it the most. Here is a glimpse of what your generosity will pay for:
