Have you heard? Our GoFundMe campaign is live! This campaign aims to raise money to help 50 displaced kids attend school for the 2022-23 academic school year beginning in September. As we all know, education changes lives. This will be our second year doing this campaign. Last year, with your generous support, we helped 28 displaced Cameroonian children (18 girls and 10 boys, 17 in elementary and 11 in middle school) to attend school successfully. With as little as $100 USD, you are investing in a child’s future for an entire academic year by covering these costs: $40 for school fees, $25 for books, $25 for school supplies, and $10 for a school bag or shoes. Want to get involved further? We have three fantastic upcoming virtual events as well! These events are organized by JusticeForCameroon in collaboration with some incredible Cameroonian influencers to help fundraise for our organization.
Starting with our first event on Wednesday, August 3rd at 6-7pm ET, Coach Rambo aka @starboy_camair will be hosting a Back to School Burner workout on Instagram Live that will get you moving! Then, after this workout session, it’s time for some well-deserved yummy food! On Tuesday, August 9th and Thursday, August 11th at 6pm - 7pm ET, we will be learning how to make some favorite Cameroonian dishes with Chef V aka @cookingwithvoluntas and Victoire Vannesa aka @Vickyssecrets99 on our Instagram Live for Cameroon Cuisine Week . Not the best cook? No need to worry! They will be teaching how to make the food step by step, so it is guaranteed to turn out delicious!
